Judgment was entered on the 13th day of June, 1959, affirming an award of the Industrial Commission in favor of Burt Downing
and against Wisconsin Bridge & Iron Company for certain sums as additional compensation for injury sustained while in
its employ, plus 15 per cent of such additional primary compensation as may be due. On December 14, 1955, Burt Downing, an employee of the Wisconsin Bridge & Iron Company, while assisting in installing
flashing on a roof of the Port Edwards Paper Mill, fell a distance of 20 feet through an opening in the roof created by the
general contractor. The roof was a level cement slab. The general contractor removed part of the roof, and covered it with
canvas.
